Our quirky little shop is situated in the beautiful surroundings of Rectory Mansion in the historic town of Brading on the Isle of Wight. Rectory Mansion is one of the oldest buildings on the island and dates from the year 1228 A.D. A building of this age has obviously had a varied past and once was owned by King Henry VIII.
It is now home to several independent businesses and boasts an impressive courtyard area which is an idyllic spot in the summer to sit and take in these impressive surroundings and building.
Our story began with an Alice in Wonderland sketch that was commissioned for a friends birthday gift.
This Alice theme quickly became popular with friends and family which encouraged us to produce a series of wooden plaques with the same theme which were then sold online. Alice in Wonderland is still an integral part of our business which is why we call the Alice in Wonderland designs our ‘signature collection’.
